So I checked, and I haven't sent a newsletter for awhile. Whoops!

Life has been busy. I finished up my current day job, but haven't yet pinned down another one. This does mean I have more time for writing. And I'm about two chapters away from finishing the first draft of the sequel to Pink Punch. It's nice to have time to work on my writing, but I also need to get full time work. But yes, definitely good for my writing.

Kindle Select and Free Promos

I've moved Pink Punch into kindle select. If you have this you can read it there for free. I'm also running a free promotion on this on the 10th and 11th of November, which means you can pick up an ebook for free if you don't have a copy already. I'll email again when its closer to those dates.

Other Projects

I've started another side project (which I guess is what happens when I have too much free time). This is a story that will likely be middle-grade, and basically is... dinosaur cops. Whilst I'm still working on Pink's sequel, this is still very much a first draft/trying out an idea which is a little easier on my brain. I've realised I need to write more than one 'project' at a time, just to keep the writing flowing. That way I can swap over and do a bit of something else if I feel stuck, but it's still writing. (As opposed to maybe sorting my lego bricks, which I'm seriously considering just to have something else to do!)

Being probably middle-grade, I'm also going to take a crack at including some drawings. Here are a couple little doodles I've done of some of the characters. Hopefully more to share on this soon!
